INTRODUCTION

The State Security Service as a whole is a product of the Pre-colonial Nigeria. The
Department of State Security Service medical Centre was established by the Federal
government to provide medical services to their state security service personnel and

their family members generally as a benefit of being an SSS Staff such as NHIS and
HMO services. The DSSMC consist of the General Medical laboratory and the Pediatric
laboratory which its sole aim and purpose was rendering quality health care services.

Seven-up bottling company located in IDU industrial area of Abuja was established by
EL-kalil in partnership with the PEPSI-CO International which produces varieties of

carbonated soft drinks such as 7Up, pepsi, mountain dew, teem bitter lemon and
Aquafina table water. The Quality Control Laboratory served as the heart of the

processes where carried out to ensure Quality Assurance of products.

Restriction of IT students to various sections in the laboratory
