Today I will tell you about my special learning story
 我 是 谁？
who I am
我是女，我的汉语名字是柳迷，我自己取了我的中
文名字，因为它有一个美丽的含义，那就是迷人的
柳树。我是 20 岁了。我是也门人但是我的一生都
住在沙特阿拉伯。本人 2020 年高中毕业，因某些情
况未能进入大学。
I am female, my Chinese name is Liumi, I took my Chinese name myself because it has
a beautiful meaning, which is the charming willow tree. I am 20 years old. I am Yemeni
but have lived in Saudi Arabia all my life. I am graduating from high school in 2020,
but due to certain circumstances, I am unable to enter the university.

What have I learned in my spare time?

我因为没有考上大学而感到难过和沮丧。 但每个问题
都有解决方案！ . 大学不是唯一的学习途径，所以我
开始解决自己的弱项，比如学习英语，并把通过雅思
考试作为自己的目标。然后我开始了学习英语的旅
程，我是通过互联网自学的。 我曾经每天学习 4 到 6
个小时。 我花了整整一年的时间才通过考试。
I was sad and depressed because I didn't get into college. But every problem has
a solution! .University is not the only way to study, so I started to address my
weaknesses, such as learning English, and made it my goal to pass the IELTS.

I would like to thank my teacher (Cai Nan) because he taught me to learn Chinese
from scratch. He is a very helpful teacher and also a teacher at Beijing Language and

 我的中文学习故事
在我和老师（蔡楠）学习之后，三个月就结束
了。 我完成了自学汉语的道路，开始学习 HSK
等级，完成了一级和二级，现在正在向三级学习
迈进。
After I studied with my teacher (Cai Nan), the three months ended. I have
completed the road of self-study Chinese, started to study HSK level, completed
Level 1 and Level 2, and now I am moving towards Level 3.

GOALS :
●我想学习汉语，达到较高的汉语水平，通过 HSK
四级考试，获得中国大学的奖学金，完成汉语专业的
学业。 我想成为中国人和阿拉伯人之间的纽带，在
我的社区传播中国文化，因为它是一种美妙的文化。
I want to learn the Chinese language, reach a high level of Chinese language proficiency, pass the
HSK Level 4 test, and obtain a scholarship from a Chinese university to complete my studies in
the Chinese language major. I want to be a link between the Chinese and the Arabs and spread the
Chinese culture in my community because it is a wonderful culture.

不是你梦想的终点，但不要忘记你是这个世界的一部

This is my story, I hope to inspire you. Not getting into college is not the end of your dreams, but don't

achieve your dreams in different ways. Remember, don't change the goal when it seems impossible to
achieve it, but change the way you work to achieve it. Opportunities for success don't come naturally, but
