Why are you applying for Financial Aid?

I want to learn Chinese language, not only to communicate Chinese friends, but also share my
knowledge to the next generation someday. It will improve my communication skills and
understand the language. I have a limited resources so I want to try to apply for financial aid in
this course.

This will be a great help in the future because I want to experience and teach in China and/or
other countries in Asia. It is a big opportunity for me as a teacher to learn this language because
there's a lot of job wanted their employees to be proficient in dealing and communicating
Chinese language.

According to Geoffrey Willans, “You can never understand one language until you understand
at least two.” I believe in this saying that if you want to understand their culture, traditions,
norms and way of living of the people, we should learn their language to the fullest of our
potential.

As a teacher, I have a responsibility to teach my students and do some professional
development in teaching Asian Studies and history. I want to learn more about their culture and
language. I want to share my knowledge to my students. I believe that you are a good and
proficient teacher if you study what will you teach. This course will help me to improve my
knowledge in asian Studies.

I want to learn Chinese language that someday I'll travel to the different parts of China and
communicate to them, learn their culture and experience the way of life. I believed that being
multilingual gives many opportunities in life, keeps you learn more and broadens different
perspective. It gives you an insight into your own language. Every new word is a milestone on
my journey not only a teacher but also understand the Chinese language and culture to share in
the next generation.
