 The documentary is on the Burari deaths which happened in
Delhi, 2018. All the eleven members of a family did mass
suicide and the reason was unknown.
 There were many theories regarding the death of family, as
the more we dig the facts the more case becomes complicated.
 It is said that the younger son of the family Lalit was suffering
from some head injury due to which he started acting like his
late father, he was the head of the family and everyone obeys
his orders.
 The family believed that the father through Lalit conveys his
wishes in other words the spirit of father was residing in Lalit.
 The family performed a ritual to prevent them from greater harm in
superstition they hanged like a banyan tree by blindfolding, tied their mouths,
tying hands and legs.
No one ever expected this especially their neighbours and families who had
not even slit hit of this coming. The most surprising part is that even the
younger generation of the family was convinced to do such thing, they were
well educated and mature enough to understand what is right and wrong.
The main source of these things was a diary which was found in the house
and the diary entries were controlled by Lalit.
It is also said that family members obeys his decision and commands after
the death of the father and in that blind faith this tragedy happened.
 Another theory
 The other theory on this incident is that Lalit had an
injury in the past due to some accident and he was
recovering from it.
 But later that injury gave him an unexpected cause that in
that influence, he started suffering from split personality
in which the other personality i.e. Father came out of him
after his death and the family member believed it as
father’s spirit comes into Lalit to deliver his wishes.
 This theory is also at one point is relevant but cannot
completely relay on it as no one knew about the health
conditions of Lalit.
 Features of the Documentary

 The interviews were taken from the other family

members, relatives, friends and neighbours which
conveyed the truth of incident.
 The real footages of the incident is shown in the
documentary which gives the audience chills and makes
viewers feel the true nature of incident.
 The camera work and sound is also handled in a good
sense.
 The experiences of the people who were connected to
the case such as police, media, rescue team are also
truly depicted in the documentary.
