Magnets can be found in the simplest or most

complex devices you use every day. From home


appliances such as the refrigerator, microwave
oven and electric fan, to your company's office
equipment such as computers and printers. All
these devices use magnets.
Magnetic field
Luminous objects are which emit light by their own. Examples:
- Sun, flame of a burning candle,electric bulb, torch, stars,
Luminous objects: Glowworm, stars, sun, fireflies, electric bulb,
tube light, the flame in a lamp, burning candle, a lighted torch,
red hot iron rod
Non-luminous objects are which can not emit light on their
own. These objects reflect light from luminous bodies.
Examples: - Moon, Earth.
Pen, tables and all objects that can’t give off light of their own.
Examples of non-luminous objects are; the moon, a tree, a
book, a pen, a chair, and a table. Non Luminous Objects List:
Planets, coal, a piece of cloth, moon, furniture, bushes, electric
poles, metals, houses, stones

Is TV a luminous object?
It depends upon the state of the tv. If it is on it's a
luminous object as it generates its own light and when
it's switched off it is a non- luminous object as it has
stopped generating light

light
