MATHS IS A MIRACLE

IMPORTANCES OF MATHS IN YOUR LIFE

• MATHEMATICS MAKES OUR LIFE

ORDERLY AND PREVENTS
CHAOS. CERTAIN QUALITIES
THAT ARE NURTURED BY
MATHEMATICS ARE POWER OF
REASONING, CREATIVITY,
ABSTRACT OR SPATIAL
THINKING, CRITICAL THINKING,
PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY AND
EVEN EFFECTIVE
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
HERE WE USES THE MATHEMATICS

• MANAGING MONEY ₹₹₹

• BALANCING THE CHECKBOOK
• SHOPPING FOR THE BEST PRICE
• PREPARING FOOD
• FIGURING OUT DISTANCE, TIME AND COST FOR TRAVEL
• UNDERSTANDING LOANS FOR CARS, TRUCKS, HOMES, SCHOOLING
• UNDERSTANDING SPORTS (BEING A PLAYER AND TEAM STATISTICS)
• PLAYING MUSIC
• BAKING
• HOME DECORATING
• SEWING
• GARDENING AND LANDSCAPING
WHY WE USES MATHS ?

• It gives us a way to
understand patterns, to
quantify relationships, and to
predict the future. Math helps
us understand the world —
and we use the world to
understand math. The world
is interconnected. Everyday
math shows these
connections and
possibilities.
MOST FAMOUSE MATHEMATICIANS OF INDIA

• Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887-1920)

• Shakuntala Devi (1929-2013)

• Harish-Chandra (1923-1983)

• Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis (1893-

1972)

• Aryabhata (476 CE-550 CE)

LIFE OF SRINIVASA RAMANUJAN WITH MATHS

• Srinivasa Ramanujan was

one of India's greatest
mathematical geniuses. He
made
substantial contributions to
the analytical theory of
numbers and worked on
elliptic functions, continued
fractions, and infinite series
LIFE OF SHAKUNTALA DEVI WITH MATHS

• Shakuntala Devi
was extremely talented in
calculations and her
achievements /books show
her contribution to maths.
Her ability to calculate
accurately with enormous
speed has never been seen
before. She used to beat the
speed of computers in
calculations.
LIFE OF HARISH CHANDRA WITH MATHS

• Harish-Chandra was a
mathematician of great
power, vision, and
remarkable ingenuity. His
profound contributions to the
representation theory of Lie
groups, harmonic analysis,
and related areas left
researchers a rich legacy
that continues today.
LIFE OF ARYABHATTA WITH MATHS

• Aryabhata is the first of the

great astronomers of the
classical age of India. He was
born in 476 AD in Ashmaka
but later lived in Kusumapura,
which his commentator
Bhaskara I (629 AD) identifies
with Patilputra (modern
Patna). Aryabhata gave the
world the digit "0" (zero) for
which he became immortal
