Final Requirement with Rubrics
 The final requirement will be a powerpoint presentation on
the disease-causing bacteria and viruses in aquaculture
under Philippine setting.
I. Introduction – What is the specific disease-causing bacteria
or viruses? (discussion on the description and
characteristics)
II. Origin of the Microorganisms
III. Species: Description, species that is attack by the
microorganism and the signs and symptoms
IV. Summary of the topic
V. Acknowledgement (addresses the sources of the topics
giving due recognition
Final Requirement with Rubrics
 The grading of the output of the presentation shall be followed through the
formulated rubrics. The following rubrics are:

1. One (1) hundred percent if the procedures were properly done, systematic
presentation, clearly discussed, and properly labeled.
2. Ninety (90%) percent if the procedure were properly done, systematically
presented, with small correction when discussed, and properly labeled.
3. Eighty (80) percent if some procedures were omitted during discussion, fairly
presented, and several correction during the presentation and properly labeled.
4. Seventy five (75%) if some of the procedure were skip and unclear during the
discussion, fairly not presented during the discussion and some parts were not
properly labeled or omitted.
5. Seventy (70%) percent, If the presentation is not properly discussed, not
systematically done and improperly labeled
6. Sixty (60%) failed to present the output.

This enable the instructor/professor wants for the learner emphasizes the
development and improvement of the knowledge, skills and their attitude
towards pursuing more advance subject related to which in turn to:

 1) Identify and discuss the scope and application of microbiology


 2) Explain and discuss the importance and causative problem of
microbes to the ecosystem
 3) Identify and explain the different instrument in the development of
microbiology
 4) Develop skills in identification and classification of microbes based
on their taxonomic descriptions
 5) Appreciate the functions and structural features of microorganisms
that interact the the environment either helpful or harmful.
