Recent Crisis
PMLN, PPP, and MQM’s takeover.
 The Recent News….
Having a clash among government parties is quite common in a democratic country. But as seen in the news,
there are many things that are rare.

As heard, PM Imran Khan was pushed off the seat of a PM on 10 th of April 2022, practically from the pressure
added by the PMLN, PPP, and MQM. But before considering this fact as normal, we must look back in to the
history to understand the background of this:

• Firstly, the voting happened on Saturday, a weekend, in the middle of the night at a time when the whole
Pakistan is asleep, yet he was dismissed there and then.

• Secondly, no action has been taken on this incident of the supreme court.

• Thirdly, though MQM is a prominent party, it still isn’t playing the game along with PMLN and PPP, the
only person seen on the screen is Maulana Fazlur Rehman which is not a member of MQM, PMLN or PPP
either way.
 The Recent News….
There are some incidents that happened before the takeover of PMLN, and PPP

• Imran khan departed on 10th of April.

• At first Imran Khan's resignation was not accepted.

• He was immediately dismissed a day later.

• A request made by PTI was not accepted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan but a request made
by PMLN was accepted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

• Hence the contents of the requests made by both parties is still a mystery.

Let us now look on some of the ministers appointed by both PMLN, PPP and MQM combined in
the 2 major states, Sindh and Punjab

A look at some prominent civilians who sided with PTI.
 Pakistan supports PTI
Nearly, every Pakistani is with PTI, the only reason they are so attached to him is because of
his honesty and submissiveness to Pakistan, had Imran Khan remained silent on the “Threat
Letter” (Foreign threat from America) things would’ve been different. Rivalry aside, Imran
Khan was practically brilliant at handling foreign relations, the best example is when an
American interviewer had asked Imran Khan that if he would allow the US to have a base in
Pakistan, to which he replied, without hesitation, “Pakistan will ‘Absolutely Not’ allow bases
for the US for action in Afghanistan”. which was a big hit in Pakistan. And people finally
accepted him as a true leader. Apart from that let us focus on the “Foreign Conspiracy”:

• Imran Khan brought the letter out a week before he departed.

• At first the existence of the threat in the letter from America was thought as a made up story, but when
the threat’s existence was proven true, a total of 3 important people sided with Imran Khan.
 The 3 Important People
The 4 important people are Asad Qaiser, Qasim Suri, Senior Anchor of ARY News and a
host of the show Power Play, Arshad Shareef.

• On 9th of April, Asad Qaiser had resigned from the seat of a speaker of the National Assembly, he
said “My first duty is to Pakistan, as to which I resign from the seat of a deputy speaker, I am
leaving this letter to my secretary, he may read it if he wishes.”

• Not to long after, that even Qasim Suri resigned from his seat of a Deputy Speaker, after reading
the letter himself, he said “I believe, that whoever reads this letter which contains the threat
America had sent, wouldn’t hesitate to stand up for Pakistan.”

• 2 weeks ago, when Arshad Shareef, Senior Anchor of ARY News, declared that he is now
standing with PTI, just for the good of Pakistan. To the result of which PM Shehbaz Shareef had
taken him for a media trial.

Rivalry is a Hazard
Rivalry Aside, pay attention to the effects…..
 Rivalry Among Parties, What’s the point ?

Having a normal rivalry is common, but apart from being “common”, things get far worse. In the months of
April and May, Pakistan is facing a high rate of rivalry from PTI and PMLN, it may seem something small to
us, but this is a perfect timing for terrorists to take advantage.

• PMLN, PPP, and PTI are all at the highest rate of rivalry.

• When rivalry strikes, the concentration on foreign enemies, eventually lessens, causing
terrorists to take advantage.

• Once, terrorists take advantage, it might become too late for us to change our fate.

• But always think positive, the rate of terrorism has decreased since the late 19 th century, so it
might not be a big deal, but its best that we should be on our guard.

Comparison of Politics
A short comparison of Pakistan’s Politics to other countries.
 Pakistan VS India

Pakistan and India both have made progress this year, in what have they made process, here are some points :

• India has been signing contracts with aircraft makers, such as Embraer.

• Pakistan has not made progress in its Aviation.

• India has made advancements in their education, and is currently above Pakistan in education.

• Pakistan has made advancements in tourism, but it is currently at a low level.

• India, has problems in its economy because it has less or no rivalry among political parties.

• Pakistan, on the other hand, has problems, both in its economy and politics, and that is due to a high level of
rivalry among political parties has described earlier.
 Pakistan VS America

Pakistan and America are having a phase of “Friendship” with PMLN, Shehbaz Sharif. Due to which money is
being taken as a loan from America. Apart from that, America and Pakistan do “not” have a strong relation.

• America had been against the previous government of Pakistan, which was PTI.

• The reason for that is - what is told in the news seems the best reason, otherwise everyone knows the actual reason anyway - when PM
Imran Khan had visited Russia, for buying grain. Russia was providing grain, to Pakistan, in an amount 30% less than compared to other
countries.

• America was not at all happy with the visit, yet America said, that Pakistan should’ve asked them and they would have provided us
whatever we needed, without the slightest hesitation.

• After this incident came the “Foreign Conspiracy” threat letter.

• America in terms of Politics is a firm country, they do whatever they want to.

• Yet some political parties such as PTI, do whatever they want to, but parties such as PMLN and PPP, basically are weak in terms of doing
things their own way because they want to please the people of Pakistan.
