The Circulatory System

What is a Circulatory System ?

The circulatory system is made up of blood vessels that


carry blood away from and towards the heart. Arteries
carry blood away from the heart and veins carry blood
back to the heart. The circulatory system carries oxygen,
nutrients, and hormones to cells, and removes waste
products, like carbon dioxide.

What are the products of circulatory system ?

The circulatory system consists of the heart, blood, blood


vessels

1. Heart :The heart is a muscular organ about the size of a fist,


located just behind and slightly left of the breastbone. It is made up
of 4 chambers the upper two chambers are known as the Left and
Right
 Atriums. The lower two are known as Left and Right
When the heart contracts , blood is forced out of the heart.
