ANS: INDUS WATER TREATY: (1960)
Indus water treaty was signed between Pakistan and India.
According to treaty three eastern rivers Ravi, Sutlej, Beas
And
Three western rivers were Jhelum, Chenab, Indus.

by Pakistan and India during transition?
ANS: COMMUNAL riots broke out as a result of partition of
Subcontinent.
It had negative impact on minority communities on both sides to
resolve the issue.

ANS: MAIN CAUSE OF PAKISTAN’S VICTORY IN 1965 WAR:
Indo –Pak war of 1965 is one of the most important events of history of
Pakistan. The way Pakistani armed forces defended their mother land
proves that it is unity, faith and discipline that counts and not the the
number of armed forces or quality of weapons.

ANS: ROLE OF PAKISTAN NAVY IN WAR TIME:
Pakistan navy played significant role in this War.On 7th September
1965, Pakistan Navy ships bombarded Indian town and radar station
Dwarka.
Pakistan Navy submarine Ghazi kept the Indian Navy’s aircraft carrier
besieged in the harbor throughout the War.

ANS: LoC (Line of Control) is the ceasefire line after the 1948 Indo-Pak
war .
International Border is the line that both countries and the rest of the
world have agreed upon.

Both India and Pakistan desire that the Question of the accession of

ANS: KASHMIR ISSUE , A THREAT TO WORLD PEACE:
Because , both Pakistan and India are atomic powers, and any mishandling
may lead to a great devastation.
