INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE EXPERIENCE IN RE ROGERS GLOBAL EXPOSURE ASSOCIATION WITH IELA

Journey 1
I joined R.E. Rogers India in 2010 with a stellar experience of
15 years with my previous company in the same industry.
with
In 2010, I had the opportunity to attend the IELA's 25th Jubilee
2 Congress in Paris. I got great exposure to our industry cosmos
and was very much welcoming. I made sure to make the best of
the opportunity.

After the initial partnering event in Seoul, Korea, 2011,

3 the journey continued to Barcelona, Spain, 2012.
I found my collaborative space. I had begun working with Jim
Kelty as a speaker for the upcoming winter seminar.
Journey 4 In 2013 continued in Munich, Germany, where basic know-how
with attendees and coordination with WG's for active
with participation were on my wish list.
I started my involvement in the first working group, gradually
progressing to the Education and Training WG, where I found
my creative juices flowing.

My learning journey followed in year; 2014 IELA~ Amsterdam,

5 2015 IELA ~ Singapore and 2015 and IELA Winter Seminar ~
Zurich with idea exchange sessions with core & close-connects

I had a wonderful opportunity to present a case study

6 on Indian customs and to assist the group members’ -
participants & students. This made me realize I have the world
to come!
Journey 7 As ascending through the journey, in 2015, Daniel Harding, the
best student in our working group, was nominated. Overall, it
with was a proud honoring moment!

2016 IELA was Dublin, Ireland whereas, 2017 IELA in Prague,

8 Czech and I had a lot to offer with the opportunity to be a
speaker once again in WS 2017 on Case Study of Indian
Customs.

2018 IELA was held at San-Francisco,

9 2019 IELA was Venice; were insightful & developmental. In
2020, due to the pandemic, we had to skip Congress & move
online. As Mariane Ewbank suggested mentor one of the OS 2020
groups. Bas Wiendels, lead the Education & Training Working
Group, a 9day online event. Though online, but had a indepth
exposure with 74 delegates,
30 of members represented from 24 countries.
Journey 10
In November 2020, I was given the opportunity to chair the
Education and Training WG, with my team members Ute and
with Alexandara serving as vice chairs and go-to people. We had to build
our first WS 2021 online with 36 students, 34 of whom were from 22
countries.

A 3-day event featured 6 teams. In this instance as well,

11 I served as the group's mentor, and they won the WS 2021

Timeline with
Academy
The initiative was put up in Education and Training Group for a
very long time. The same was picked up by me, and as BOM
have presented my ideas of how we can take this further to the
benefit of membership or even to the industry for the benefit of
IELA.

After my presentation of having external help based on an

education consultant known to us, IELA BOM has approved the
Academy budget for its concept and curriculum. We have the
Concept ready and on approval from the BOM, we will ensure we
finish the curriculum before the IELA 2023 Congress.

My Alma Mater
I remember my Alma Mater— fondness, and my gurus
Mr. Ravinder Sethi, Chairman & Managing Director & Mrs. Kiran
Sethi, Director at R. E. Rogers India Pvt. Ltd., my haven, a place I
called my own. My heart is filled with immense pride, fondness,
and gratitude - coupled with nostalgia for the past 13+ years and
longing as to how those wonderful years flew by.
What a marvelous journey it has been, transforming me from a
newbie in the industry to a gregarious person reaching out to the
world. I must admit that they have most certainly stood the test of
time and made a global mark. They came into my life without
prejudice, expecting nothing in return. Every minute detail about
them has sparked growth in me. If you're willing to roll up your
sleeves, dive in, and give it your all, there is nothing in life you
cannot experience, accomplish, transform, or transcend. The
bedrock of their existence is their simple motto, "Truth and Love."
