 Have you ever been excited to meet someone, but things
didn't go as expected? That's exactly what happens in the
story "After Twenty Years.” The Story takes us on a journey
filled with unexpected surprises and important life
lessons.This presentation will explore two lesson that I
leaned from the story.
 First,the importance of keeping appointments.The story
teaches us that it's important to keep our promises and show
up when we say we will. Bob and Jimmy Wells both arrived
on time for their meeting even they're make the appointment
long time ago, which showed how much they valued and
honest with their friendship.
 Second,being careful in trusting other.”After Twenty Years”
reminds us to be careful when trusting others. Bob quickly believed
the tall man's claim to be his friend Jimmy Wells, but he later
realized that he had been tricked. This shows us that we shouldn't
trust people too easily. Trust needs to be earned over time, based on
someone's actions and how honest they are. The story teaches us to
be careful before placing our trust in others because things may not
always be what they appear to be.
in conclusion, "After Twenty Years" teaches us to keep our
promises and be wary of trusting others too quickly. It reminds us
to follow through on our commitments and to be careful before
placing our trust in someone. By practicing these lessons, we can
build stronger relationships based on reliability and wise decision-
making.
