Speed controller
Abstract
• The aim of this project is to maintain perfect traffic speed control system in Road way
using RSU(Road side Unit).
• Based on the broadcast system, the incoming vehicles are alerted with traffic and accident
ahead the road.
• Speed control is not a prevalent feature found in electric vehicles. Many Vehicles
implement a pseudo speed controller that does not include feedback based on sensing
speed.
• This paper describes a low cost feedback speed controller for an instrumented electric
Vehicle.
Introduction
• Speed Controller technology has improved our lives.
• Nowadays, most countries are using vehicles . The use of moters over vehicles is always
green for the environment, but an E-bike is the biggest adoption of green transportation of
the decade. Just think E-bikes in place petrol operated scooters rather than normal bikes. An
E-bike uses rechargeable batteries that can travel up to 25 to 60 Kmph.
• Speed controller is a new emerging trend in wireless TPS work on the principle of Hall effect
or inductive sensors communication system.
• It transfers data from one place to another regardless of the distance.
• Combining this technology with ebike smart traffic management, we introduce an efficient
smart city traffic control.

Objective
• The main objective of this project to propose to develop and test a working ebike
controller.
• The ebike controller along with a throttle input, speed sensor for type
speed,switch,motor driver, ebike motor Battery and OLED display to develop the
system.
• We will hereby focus on throttling and speed display part of ebike while
developing this controller. Ebike are the transport medium of our future. We are
moving towards the electric vehicles era leaving behind the fuel based
mechanisms.
Problem Identified
