COURSE OBJECTIVES
 Define the basics of common numerical systems, basic
principles of Boolean algebra, differences between
sequential and combinational system design principles,
basic knowledge of sequential logic functions, and
Composite and hence develop more complex functions.
 Explain and implement logical transformations;
Combinatorial design from the required requirements;
Using algebraic methods and k-maps for simplication of
logic functions; Sequential circuit design in the optimal
way from the given state diagram.
 Apply teamwork skills in the implementation of topics
related to digital systems design.

REQUIREMENTS
 Attend at least 80% of classes. Being late 02
times is equivalent to 01 absence. Students
who fail to attend at least 80% of classes will
be prohibited from taking the final exam.
 Read the textbook and references as
required; read more references to acquire
more knowledge.
 Submit the homework and assignments
before due time.

 Pay attention to the lectures, participate
actively and cooperatively in class activities
organized by the instructor.
 Willing to give comments or discuss on the
topics that instructor introduces in class.
