HSC Board Practical Examination

General Instructions: -
•ONLY IT Teacher should be appointed as Internal and External Examiner.
•HSC Board Practical Examination time duration will be of 3:00hrs.
•Requirements for LAB Set up
1)Total 20 computers for one division (60 students) are required
2)Printer
3)LAN
4)Internet Connection (Only for SEO/Digital Marketing SOP)
Required Software:
•Any text editor
•Any browser
•Any accounting software (open source/ free education version / proper licensed version)
•PHP (open-source software)
•Audacity (open-source software)
•Kdenlive (open-source software)
•SOP’s given in the Textbook should be considered as practical slips for conducting Practical
Examination.
• Total Two SOP slips of different skill set should be given to the student at the time of
Prelim/HSC Board Practical Examination.
•Out of which student should perform ANY ONE SOP of his/her choice.

•Students should write hand written code /steps first on answer sheet, get it
checked by external examiner and then only perform on computer.

•15 Marks for practical examination and 5 Marks for Certified Journal that is
total 20 Marks Practical Examination should be conducted.

•IT Journal should include compulsory skill sets (as mentioned in the
textbook according to the stream)

•IT Journal should contain SOP question followed by handwritten

code/steps/output and printout of the same.

• IT Journal should be certified by the External Examiner at the time of

Practical Examination.
 Mark distribution for HSC Board Practical Exam is as
follows.
A) Write a program/Code/Steps and execute it.
(HTML/JavaScript/PHP)
i) Handwritten Code 05 Marks
ii) Correct Typing and Syntax 05 Marks
iii) Execution 03 Marks
iv) Printout 02 Marks

Total 15 Marks

B) Complete and Certified Journal 05 Marks

Grand Total 20 Marks
Requirements of Printouts:
Handwritten code/steps for all the SOP’s is must
•Practical performed by student should have his/her board seat number printed
on it.

•For Advanced Web Designing, PHP and JavaScript SOP’s HSC board seat
number should be in the <title> tag or as a comment.

•For Computerized Accounting SOP, while creating Company student should

type HSC Board Seat Number after the Company Name.

•Science (97): For all sops, printouts are required except sop 8 of Advanced
web designing.

•Arts (98) :For all sops, printouts are required except Audacity and Kdenlive.

•Commerce (99): For all sops, printouts are required except Digital Marketing.
