Windows 10 installer (.iso) and VirtualBox (Windows Host).

Ahmad just bought a laptop. He wants to use Windows 10 for the laptop. Help Ahmad to install
Windows 10 by performing the following steps through virtual machines and helps him to
explore Windows 10 environment.

PART A: SETTING UP A VIRTUAL BOX FOR WINDOWS 10

Virtual installation

1. Download the windows 10 ISO

New VM

2. Create a new virtual

machine

Click New
Save name and select Next

1. Create partitions in your windows

Select Search automatically for updated driver software. Select Update Driver.
3. Explore windows backup in windows 10:

a. Backing up files and documents.

Sign in you local Microsoft account

Than select Start , and select Windows Backup.

Then select Folders to drop it down, and select folders you want to back up to OneDrive:

b. Restoring files from a backup.

Go to the Start menu

4. Maintaining windows 10 operating system. Clean windows 10 by using this tool:

a. Disk clean up.

In the search box on the taskbar, type disk cleanup, and select Disk Cleanup from the
list of results.

Select the drive you want to clean up, and then select OK.
 Under Files to delete, select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file
type, select it.

Select OK.

b. Disk defragmenter

Select the search bar on the taskbar and enter defrag.

Select Defragment and Optimize Drives.

Select the disk drive you want to optimize.

Select the Optimize button.

c. Create windows defender
