related AR Glasses for

Elderly Healthcare

With the rapid industrialization of cities, air pollution has
become an increasingly serious problem. Fine pollutants in
the air brake through our body's defenses and penetrate
deep into our respiratory and circulatory systems, damaging
our lungs, hearts, and brains. Of all people, this hazard
affects the elderly the most.

At the same time, the development of technology is rapid,

as is the popularity of the metaverse, but the elderly do not
have a good grasp of technology.

The aim of this research is to is designed to help the elderly avoid air pollution and
keep healthy, but also invites middle-aged and elderly to the metaverse world and can have a
good use technology in a friendly way.

The purpose : design a senior-friendly AIR Navigation that identifies the

categories and concentrations of ozone, PM2.5, NOx (motor vehicle exhaust) and SOx
(factory and coal combustion) can be identified respectively. With AIR Navigation, users
can visualize the air index by color differentiation and can see safe routes to help them
reach their destinations.

In order to provide users with better experience and make hypothesis visible and feasible,
quantitative research questionnaires followed by qualitative research tools, such as
persona , were conducted in this paper

Questionnaire

A total of 212 questionnaires were distributed on the Internet, with 13

related questions. The survey includes the following aspects:
1) Basic information analysis.
2) Middle-aged and elderly people's thoughts and opinions about air
indices.
3) Middle-aged and elderly people's concern about technology.
4) Acceptance of AR glasses (metaverse) and reasons.

Considering the acceptance of technology by the middle-aged and elderly, AIR Navigation is simple to
operate and use. .

The conceptual flow of AIR Navigation service is that sensors detect the type and concentration of
pollutants and send the information to AIR Navigation, which displays the pollution in real time and
calculates a new recommended route..

Technological advancement and innovation have had a powerful driving force on people's lives and
have had a profound impact on people's lives. like AI algorithms, drones, and so on..

However, the convenience that technology delivers to their lives is not appreciated by the middle-aged
and old. What's more, the phenomenon of an aging population has become very common.

It is very important to lead the middle-aged and elderly into the world of metaverse.

This study explores and analyzes the problem of middle-aged and elderly people knowing the
daily air situation in real time and applies AR technology to bring middle-aged and
elderly people closer to technology based on solving this need.
