UAE promotes modest school uniforms for
both girls and boys
• School uniforms in government schools
• Uniforms are compulsory for school students in the UAE. All public schools follow a
unified school uniform for students of primary section. The unified appearance aims
to provide a sense of equality and justice amongst all pupils, regardless of
backgrounds or social status and to manifest the UAE's national and cultural identity.
The school uniform includes a dishdasha for boys and a headscarf and a long skirt and
blouse for the girls. Mandatory kits include accessories such as socks and shoes for
each section for regular and sportswear.
• In accordance to this our beloved chairman Ibrahim Hajj Sir initiated and kept alive the
Sunnah dress code for both boys and girls in all his schools across UAE.
• Adhering to the Hadith : Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and
blessings be upon him, said, “A time of patience will come to people in which
adhering to one’s religion is like grasping a hot coal.”
