Applying Themes and Slide

Transitions
A theme is a combination of
colors, fonts, and effects that
are automatically added to our
slides.
To insert a theme, we do the following steps:

1. Go to ribbon and click the Design tab.


2. The choices for themes are just below
the Design tab. We can click on the arrow
on the right side to display other theme
choices.
3. Choose the theme that we like.
We can also choose a variant of the theme by doing these steps:

1. Go to Ribbon and click the Design tab.


2. Go the theme variants, and click on the
arrow on the right side to display other
theme choices.
3. Click on any variant that we like.
Applying Slide Transitions
Slide transition is an effect
added to a slide to move from
one slide to another.
To insert a slide transition, we:
1. Click the slide where we want to apply the slide
transition.
2. Go to the Ribbon and look for the transition
tab.
3. After clicking, we will see the effects available
to us. We can click the arrow beside it.
4. A drop-down menu will appear that contains all
of the slide transitions that we can use.
5. Click any desired effect.
Hands-on:

Follow the instructions carefully:

1. Open PowerPoint Presentation.


2. Change the theme of your Presentation into “Organic”.
3. Add 4 Blank Slides
4. In Slide 3, change the slide transitions into “Ripple”.
5. In Slide 4, Change the slide transitions into “Split”.
