NED Entry Test is based on Intermediate level syllabus

(Inter).
25 questions per subject (Math, Physics, Chemistry,
English).
Entry Test has a duration of 2 hours.
Best of 2 format is followed.

There are two types of seats available for A Level

Program Criteria

BS Engineering Eligibility:
● At least 60% marks in SSC (Matric) or an equivalent examination (such as O-levels) AND
● Should have studied for HSSC or an equivalent qualification, for at least two years AND
● At least 60% marks in the Pre-Engineering or an equivalent examination

Selection Criteria:
● 50% weight to higher percent score of SSC (or an equivalent exam) OR HSSC (or an equivalent exam) AND
● 50% weight to marks obtained in Admission Test
Candidates having taken NTS-NAT IE or NAT ICS exam
● Cut-off marks in the NTS-NAT IE exam to be determined by the Universit

Program Criteria
BS (computing) Eligibility:
● At least 60% marks in SSC (Matric) or an equivalent examination (such as O-levels) AND
● Should have studied for HSSC or an equivalent qualification, for at least two years AND
● At least 50% marks in HSSC or an equivalent qualification AND
● Should have EITHER
○ studied Mathematics at the HSSC or equivalent level. OR
○ pass HSSC level Mathematics exam within one year of admission (for candidates with Pre-medical
background), conducted by any one of the following:
■ Local Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education
■ A recognized Foreign Board (Oxford, Cambridge, etc.)

Selection Criteria:

Medical Fitness
Selected candidates will be required to provide Medical Certificate issued by any
government hospital or a registered medical practitioner at the time of joining a
programme of study. Medical Certificate Form will be emailed / sent to the selected
candidates along with the Provisional Selection Letter.

Rejection of Application
The University reserves the right to reject any application for admission without
assigning any reason.

Admission Requirements
The basic eligibility criteria for admission at IVS is:

Intermediate with minimum C grade (50% marks).

An Equivalency Certificate from IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairmen) must be
provided for foreign qualifications such as Cambridge A-Level,
International Baccalaureate, American High School Diploma, etc.
Admission Requirements
Requirements to obtain IBCC Equivalency Certificate are :
Minimum 8 O Level subjects:

▪ 5 Mandatory subjects (Urdu, Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies, Mathematics and English)

▪ 3 Electives (any subjects)

Any 3 A Level subjects

Admission Requirements
Students awaiting results can also apply.

▪ If such students qualify for admission at IVS, they will be given conditional
admission.

▪ Admission shall be cancelled in case admission requirements are not fulfilled.

Admissions 2024

▪ Students who are expected to complete their Intermediate or

equivalent qualification by May/June 2023 can apply for
Admissions 2024.

▪ Classes start in Spring 2024 (January 2024).

Admission to the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture is
