ADDIE ( in action Mini Caselet )

Mr.Subramaniam is the Director of J S Ramaia college of Management in Bangalore. While not in the top league, JS Ramia was Ranked
35 as per recent rankings by a top media house.
• Being located in Indian’s silicon valley, JS generally has enjoyed a decent placement track record.
• However for the last few years, Subramaniam has been receiving feedback from recruiters and alumni , that there seemed to be a
missing link ..somehow students were not able to do well in the placement interactions..
• This was a surprise to Subramiam since the college had a placement cell and faculty members also acted as mentors and this model
seemed to have been working .
• With placement season about to begin in the next 6 months, Subramiam , had his task cut out. He didn’t want the college’s
reputation to be tarnished and moreover he was confident that students of JS were top class. Perhaps there was a missing link.
• In desperation Subramaniam reached out to a friend, Mr. Raju , who was heading L&D for one of India’s famed IT organizations and
articulated his problem. Mr. Raju patiently listened and advised that Subbu should get in touch with this new start up founded by
former NMIMS students who were creating waves in this space.
• Mr. Suramaniam did not waste any more time and immediately spoke to the startup team.
