PROFESSIONALISM
IN SOLDIERY

When a man decides to be a soldier, he

knowingly, voluntarily and with full consent
forfeits certain personal rights and privileges
which other men who are not soldiers may
legitimately possess and enjoy. Thus, he
waives his right to certain restrictions, and
accepts certain duties and responsibilities for
the successful accomplishment of the unit’s
mission. He does his job with the highest
degree of excellence and exerts extra efforts,
if need be. He always give his best shot.
Should he break his code of conduct/AFP
Code of Ethics, he disgraces not only himself
but also the entire Armed Forces.
The AFP Constitutional Mandate

XXX. The AFP is the protector of the

people and the state. Its goal is to
secure the sovereignty of the state and
the integrity of the national territory.

What is Loyalty?
If you work for a man in a heavens

standby the institution he represents.
Remember an ounce of loyalty is worth, a
pound of cleverness, if you growl, condemn
and eternally find fault, why resign your

institution, do not condemn it. If you do the
