Analytical Exposition is kind of text which consist into the kinds

Analytical Exposition merupakan jenis teks yang termasuk ke dalam jenis


Argument. Teks ini berisi tentang pemikiran terperinci tentang sebuah kejadian
atau peristiwa yang ada di sekitar.
PURPOSE OF ANALYTICAL
EXPOSITION

 To persuade by presenting argument


 To analyse or explain ‘how’ and ‘why’

Atau untuk meyakinkan pembaca bahwa topic yang dihadirkan adalah topic yang
penting untuk dibahas atau mendapat perhatian dengan cara pemberian argument-
argumen atau pendapat-pendapat yang mendukung ide pokok atau topic tersebut.
GENERIC STRUCTURE OF

 Thesis
Introduces topic and indicates the writer’s position. The writer also outlines the main
arguments to be presented
 Argument
Shows a series of arguments that support the thesis
 Conclusion
In this stage, the writer restates his/her point of view

 The use of Emotive word ( Menggunakan kata Emotif)


ex: alarmed (cemas), worried (khawatir)

 - The use “words that qualify statement” kata yg memenuhi syarat pernyataan.
Ex: usual (biasa) , probably (mungkin)

 - The use ‘words that link argument (Menggunakan kata yang menggunakan
argument )

 SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
example: In my opinion elementary school teacher works hard.
English is the world’s most important language.

INTERNET AND EDUCATION
The impact of internet in education has been far reaching and still developing. It
has created instant access to a wide variety of research information to help students
learn.

Nowadays, internet access has created the potential for students to learn new
material easily. The time students have at class is limited, so the teacher sometimes
cannot give all the explanation needed. In this case, internet can help students to get
more explanation.

Internet has become now way of life. In the future, on students’ working life, they
will have to use internet. So it is wise for the teacher to give assignment which related
to it. For example, teacher can ask students to give the assignment via e-mail.

Internet has big impact on education. There are many positive things students and
teacher can get from it
