What is Recreation?
Recreation is an activity that is intended for
relaxation and enjoyment purposes. People do
recreational activities to have fun. Others do it
to unwind or refresh their mind and body after
work or stressful task.

working and enjoying
the work that you do,
but doing so is not a
form of recreation.

01 Active Recreation

- refers to a structured individual or team activity


that requires the use of special facilities, fields or
equipment.

02 Passive Recreation
- refers to recreational activities that do not require prepared
facilities like sports fields or pavilions. Passive recreational
activities do not require much of your energy and only require
you to observe.

trees, and being one with Mother
Nature.
