Colour, Way of Love (“CWOL”) was initiated in 2009 in
the hope to making the Hope Schools in remote areas

A special funding was set up with China Youth
Development Foundation for donation of NIPPON
PAINT Hope Schools and NIPPON PAINT art
classrooms. Until 2018, Nippon Paint "Colour, Way of
Love" has covered more than 200 Chinese cities, towns
and villages; 342 campus improvement projects
completed; 319 art classrooms set up. The project has
gained joint support from more than 50 NGOs,
enterprises, and attracted more than 17,000 teachers

Colour, Way of Love Art+ Project was launched in 2016.


The principle of the "Colour, Way of Love Art+ Project"
is to create equal opportunities for children to receive art
education, inspiring children's imagination with colour
and train future artists. The theme of mural paintings is
about animal protection and child caring. At the end of
2019 the project has invited 88 global artists to create
120 mural paintings in rural areas schools and cities in
China, with the hope of combining art, colour and local
culture to bring love, colour and joy to the world.
