PERFECT SQUARE TRINOMIAL (PST)
Is the equation a perfect square trinomial?

1. It must be a TRINOMIAL .
𝒂 𝟐+𝟐 𝒂𝒃 + 𝒃𝟐
2. The first and third terms must be perfect squares
𝒂 𝟐+𝟐 𝒂𝒃 + 𝒃𝟐
3. The middle term must be the product of the
square roots of the first and third term multiplied by 2
