Internship Experience
 Duration of Internship : 2 Weeks.
 Role and Responsibilities:
As an intern at Nash Robotics and Automation Pvt Ltd, my role is in assembly,
testing, and inspection is crucial to the overall production and quality assurance
process. My responsibilities include:
1. Testing:
• Participating in functional testing procedures to evaluate the performance and
functionality of assembled systems.
• Running diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions.
6
2. Inspection:
• Conducting visual inspections to verify the quality and integrity of assembled
components and systems.
• Using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment to perform dimensional
checks and verify tolerances. Ex. Vernier Calliper, Height Gauge, Micrometer, Slip
Gauge, Dwell Pin, Radius Gauge, etc.
7 Equipments
1. Pneumatic Tip Dresser:
A neumatic tip dresser is a pneumatic tool used for grinding electrode tips, and is often
used in spot welding. It can improve welding quality, reduce labour intensity, and increase
production efficiency. Some say it can also extend the life of electrode and electrode cap
products, and lower manufacturing costs.
8
2. Vernier Calliper:
Digital Vernier-type calipers enable high-resolution measurements for the width or
diameter of objects. Final measurements display on easy-to-read LCD screens - so there's
no room for interpretation.
9
4. Height gauge: 5. Dwell Pin:
10 3. Hydraulic Spreader Gun:
• To assess the quality of spots , welded sheets need to torn apart.
• A hydraulic spreader gun is a versatile tool that uses hydraulics to multiply force,
allowing it to lift heavy machinery, bend a vehicle's metal body, secure concrete
forms, and more.
