Who is Andres Bonifacio?
BIOGRAPHY
• Dob: November 30th, 1863
• DoD: May 10th, 1897
• Born in Tondo, Manila
• Son of Santiago Bonifacio and Catalina de Castro
• Nationalist and Revolutionary leader who founded the Katipunan
• Eldest of six siblings: Ciriaco, Procopio, Troadio, Esperidiona and Maxima
• Self-educated with diverse work experience at trading firms and a theater
company
• Member of Freemasonry with the Taliba headed by Jose Dizon
• “Supremo” of the Nationalist katas-taasan, Kagalang-galangang katipununan ng
mga anak ng bayan
• Married twice, first to Monica of palomar then Gregoria de Jesus

independence was through a revolution.

The life of bonifacio from start to end, sadly
demonstrates the lack of unity in our country,
which still happens today. Unfortunately, he died
not in the hands of the enemy but in the hands of
a fellow filipino.
