GENERAL PROFILE OF FLEET CUSTOMERS

A. Most Fleet customers has a Motor pool department that performs preventive maintenance
services after the warranty period.
• Some mechanical parts are purchased from dealership but also considers available parts
replacement in the local market.
• Recommended PMS activities are not being performed on the equipment and repairs are
done by local service shops in the area
.
B. Other Fleet customers maintains a Servicing contract with their selling dealers for the
mechanical repair of their trucks.
• Minor body repairs are done by the servicing dealers while major body repairs are
coordinated with the accredited bodybuilders.
• Equipment repairs are coordinated with the accredited suppliers during the warranty
period. After warranty, they have it serviced in their areas of operation.
• Recommended PMS activities are not being performed on the equipment. Equipment
suppliers are contacted by the servicing dealers when local repair shop can not solve the
problem.
