BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Non-Cross Dressing policy is a policy that prohibits
individuals from wearing clothing that is typically
associated with the opposite gender. This policy is often
enforced in public places such as schools, offices, and
private establishments.
Non-cross dressing policy have been criticized for
potentially restricting self- expression and gender
diversity and the impact of some factors such as
psychological and emotional condition of an LGBTQ+
learners. According to study conducted, learners of senior
high class of Elizabeth High School in Tennessee, USA
found that learners disagreed with the survey that non-
cross dressing policy promote a safe learning environment.

Furthermore, according to Rusell et.al(2018) he found that
non-affirming school policies, including those related to
gender expression, can negatively impact mental health,
and wellbeing gender-diverse learners.
Statement of the Problem
The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of Non-
Cross Dressing Policy at senior high level of Humanities
and Social Sciences. Specifically, this study seeks to
answer the following questions:

1. Have academic performance and attendance rates been


affected by Non-Cross Dressing policy?
2. Is there any indications that learners ability to
express their gender identity and self-discovery has been
hindered by Non-Cross Dressing Policy?
3. How do senior high learners rate the effect of the Non-
Cross Dressing Policy on their comfort and sense of
belonging within the school?

Hypothesis

Ha: There is a significant measurement to the effect of


Non-Cross Dressing Policy at senior high level of
Humanities and Social Sciences.

Ho: There is no significant measurement to the effect of


Non-Cross Dressing Policy at senior high level of
Humanities and social Sciences.
