We could define it as the process of technological,
ecological and social transformation, or the process of passing from an agrarian economy to the factory economy. It happenned between 1760 and 1840, in England.
In this process, the industry appeared, so both
agricultural and industry production multiplied while production time decreased. Who started this process? This process started thanks to James Watt, a scottish chemist, inventor and mechanical engineer, because he improved the water steam machine, and this was essential in the Industrial Revolution. There are 3 principal reasons:
- Population growth (the birth rate
increased)
- Greater production of farming
- The political situation of England
(because they had a government that favored the industrial revolution to occur there, also they were the principal
