ENGLISH LITERATURE STUDY PROGRAMS

Karo culture laboratory, which was held at the place

of English literature lecturer Dr. Immanuel Prasetya

knowledge and cohesiveness of the two performing
arts and English literature study programsIn the
Karo culture laboratory, it is held or carried out for 4
days
FIRST DAY

On this first day, the schedule is divided

into tasks for each study program, all
English literature study programs are
assigned to arrange chairs for this Karo
culture laboratory event.And the
performing arts study program is assigned
entirely to check the sound system and
microphone in the Karo culture laboratory
 SECOND DAY

And on the second day, the Karo song

was performed by a student from the
English literature study program and
several performances from Landok
Karo and Karo singing together with
the performing arts and English
literature students.

THIRD DAY

on the third day, the performance of the

Karo dance, which was performed by
the performing arts study program, was
produced by performing arts students
and danced by performing arts students.️
AND AFTER THIS PERFORMANCE IN THE 6
EVENING ALL THE ACTIVITIES OF COOKING
CIMPE KARO SPECIALTIES, WITH PERFORMING
ARTS AND ENGLISH LITERATURE STUDENTS️

And after being cooked and continuing the event,

they eat "cimpa" and drink warm tea, together
with all the participants as well as the committee
and lecturers️

FOURTH DAY

Today, there will be a dance performance from students

from the performing arts and English literature study
program, a dance called the ROTI MANIS dance, this
dance is a typical dance of the Karo tribe where Karo
Dance was formed since the existence of the Karo
community, although it is not known exactly when the
Karo community existed. The dance studied is the Sweet
Bread dance which is estimated to have existed since
1956 which is an entertainment dance.
