PROJECT BACKGROUND

 In present, there is a study about making a straw out of mango peel. This study
win the first place in science fair so that the researcher of this study come up in
development of a straw making machine. The researcher proposed a design of a
machine that will produce a straw made up from mango peel. This machine
intended to make the production of mango peel straw efficient. By designing this
machine it will also contribute to reduce plastic waste in the society.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
 The general objectives of this project is to design a Mango Peel Straw Making
Machine which aims to:

• Design a machine according to the needs of the beneficiary

• To lessen global warming by means of recycling mango peel
• To produce eco-friendly machine
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the machine based on the appearance of the
finished product

PROJECT SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

 The scope of this topic is to design a machine that produce a straw made up of
mango peel. This machine will crushes the mango peel and forms it as a straw.
This machine will not include the peeling of the mango and the packaging of the
straw.

EXPECTED OUTPUT

 Developed a machine that can produce a straw made out of mango peel that can
do the same function which is safer and eco-friendly.

 Produced the product with firm and stable consistency for better durability.
