PURPOSE OF ELECTRICAL PLAN

An electrical plan serves several crucial purposes in the design and

construction of a building or project.

Firstly, it provides a comprehensive and organized representation of the

electrical system, outlining the placement and interconnection of
various electrical components.
 This includes the positioning of main electrical panels, subpanels,
and circuit breakers, as well as the routing of electrical wiring,

 By clearly delineating the distribution of power, the electrical plan

areas, rooms, and equipment within the building.
Secondly, the electrical plan plays a vital role in lighting design.
