For example:
Communities near an industrial plants that releases toxic or
poisonous chemicals in the air need to be aware of it. The
community is rick at respiratory ailments, such as cough and
asthma.
◦ One of the dangers that can affect the community is the absence
of a safe garbage disposal system.
These are some dangers that may be present in
our community.

◦ All household produce garbage.
◦ Without a safe disposal garbage
will be thrown anywhere.
◦ Garbage piles up and becomes
a breeding place for disease-
causing organisms.

segregate garbage into materials
that decompose easily and those
that do not.
◦ Recycling and composting are
ways to lessen the amount of
garbage.
Smoke-Belching Vehicles
◦ This harmful smoke irritates the
lining of the respiratory tract when
inhaled.
◦ Members can help reduce smoke-
belching by cooperating with the
Government in its Clean Air
Campaign.
Poorly maintained roads
◦ Poorly maintained roads pose
danger to people and property.
◦ These maintained roads can cause
accidents.
◦ Community members can help
repair and maintain roads. They can
also put up warning signs to inform
motorists of the road condition.
