Sustainable development goals

The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and
more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face,
including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace
and justice
There are 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) to transform our world
Crop production and management
• What is crop production management ?
• Crop management is the set of agricultural practices performed to improve the
growth, development and yield of crops. It begins with a seedbed preparation,
sowing of seeds and crop maintenance; and ends with crop harvest, storage and
marketing.
NCERT relates their chapters to SDG
• As we all know our ncert textbooks relate their chapters with SDG
• So, In this chapter. There could also be goals to relate to
SDG 15- LIFE ON LAND

How is it related to SDG 15??

Because plant are also living and need

attention to be sustained. This chapter enlists
the ways and knowledge about the use of crops

Because as the name of the chapter suggests Crop

production and management, and it list on the storage
of grains so it is related to SDG 12
