What is Onglyza?

❖ Onglyza (saxagliptin) is an oral diabetes medicine that helps


control blood sugar levels. It works by regulating the levels of
insulin your body produces after eating.
❖ Onglyza is for people with type 2 diabetes. It is sometimes used
in combination with other diabetes medications, but is not for
treating type 1 diabetes.

How Much Is The Population Consuming Onglyza?

prediabetes, according to a new report released today by the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The report finds
that as of 2015, 30.3 million Americans – 9.4 percent of theU.S.
population –have diabetes.
