EC303.41 1
RECAP

• Define ideal voltage &current source ?

• How to transform voltage source to current source ?

• How to transform current source to voltage source ?

EC303.41 2
Objectives
On completion of this period ,you would be able to :

• Solve problems on super position theorem

• Know Limitations and advantages of the theorem

EC303.41 3
Statement:
• In any linear and bilateral network containing two or
more sources, the response in any element is equal to
the algebraic sum of responses caused by individual
sources acting alone.

• While the non operative voltage or current sources in

the network should be replaced by short circuit and
open circuit across their terminals respectively.
