What Is Stratellite ?
y A new way for providing wireless

communications services emerged, based on airship or aircrafts positioned in stratosphere .

y A Stratellite is a high altitude airship, which

are actually unmanned Kelvar balloons filled with Helium.

TERRESTRIAL PSEUDOSATELLITES
NEED FOR HAPS

Although the present communication system is in third generation, it still cannot provide services to nook and corner of the world. The immediate solution thats strike us is a Satellites, but it is not a solution because it makes communication costlier along with propagation delay. HAP is a satellite at a very low height thus reducing losses and propagation delay.

ADVANTAGES OVER SATELLITES

Issue Satellite stratellite Signal uplink and downlink travels 26miles System capacity increased using spot beam resizing retrieved and reused Substantial coverage possible Remain in national airspace ,not subjected to any licensing and tech. requirements Propagation delay Signal uplink and downlink travels 45,000 miles System Growth System capacity increased only by replacing satellites
