y In your assigned group, work together to prepare and write a commercial or sales presentation for your classroom object. y Goal: To convince your fellow classmates that they must have the object to be successful, popular, smarter, or survive at school. y Groups remember: y Every member contributes y Every member has a speaking part y Refer to your Cornell Notes from last week on Effective Persuasion and use those techniques to create your commercial y Take notes as each group presents. You must evaluate the facts, opinions/common place assertions that are being stated. You must also identify the type of persuasive appeal that is being used. Also, ask yourself, During this presentation are lies/false statements being told as well? y Groups have 15 MINUTES to prepare and 4 MINUTES to present their commercials.
