Q6: Positive changes in health care sector in Gujarat Several new branches of hospitals have been opened. Availability of advanced technology and equipments. Multiple options are available.(such as Medical insurance, Medicines). Good Emergency Services. Even foreigners and NRIs are opting hospitals here for treatment.
Q7: Negative points of current health care system / hospital(Responses given by Majority) : Purely running behind money. -> Additional charges over the package. -> Even charging for visiting. -> Constantly calling for money. -> Playing with the trust of patients. A lot of hidden charges. Behaviors of staff and doctors. Cleanliness.
General view / Opinion Doctors are irresponsible. Not providing full information. Starts treatment without doing proper testing. Not considering reports from other hospitals , in case of transfer and doing all tests again. Admitting for unnecessary time period. Unnecessary follow ups.
Q8: Recommendations for / Expectations from Kaizen Words said as it is: ->They already have good team of doctors having vast experience but should be loyal to patients. -> Nominal charges or concession should be given to the middle class people. -> The concept of kaizen is good but I wish that rates will be nominal and facilities will be available 24 X 7 as promised. ->Good but I wish they will prefer patient first instead of money.
General Views Staff training for amicable behavior. Emergency services should be there. Patient oriented approach should be there just not money. Hygiene and cleanliness.
