within a government. In the Philippines, this
branch is called the Congress, composed of the
Senate and the House of Representatives. It's
responsible for enacting laws, declaring war, and
overseeing the budget.

year terms.
Senate:
In the united state, the Senate has 100 members, with two member
from each state, serving six-year terms. In the Philippines, the Senate
has 24 members, elected at-large, serving six-year terms.
Party system: The united state have doninat two- party system, while
the philippines has a multi-party system
Legislative Process: While both countries have similar legislative
processes, the US Congress has more complex rules and procedures.
