How did you attract/address your audience?

We thought about the genre of our film which is (psychological thriller) and we thought that allowing children under the age of 15 to watch such films, this may psychologically harm them so we though it would be a bad idea as we may be exposing them to things which is not appropriate to there age; and this there parents do not feel comfortable in them doing. So to avoid this stigma, we targeted it for teenagers that may be going through this depression. We targeted young adults/teenagers. The reason being is because they could relate to these situations. We also made the two protagonist a female and a male. This would attract females and males to watch our film.

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product
We have learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product in many different ways such as We have learnt how to use the camera & how to use it in the lighting. Weve learnt how to focus in the camera Weve learnt how to make title pages and credits using I movie. We have leant how to use a tripod in a professional manner. We have leant that if we record in nighttimes the camera setting have to change.

Throughout this course of time, we have leant many things that will help us, we have been through many troubles and we did lots of mistakes but we have learnt though our mistakes. So this helped us not do similar mistakes in our final piece.

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
What we have learnt from the preliminary task- how to edit-how to make shots- using tripod- put scenes together- we also learnt about the 180 degree rule, In filmmaking, the 180 rule1 is a basic guideline regarding the on-screen spatial relationship between a character and another character or object within a scene. An imaginary line, called the axis connects the characters and by keeping the camera on one side of this axis for every shot in the scene, the first character will always be frame right of the second character, who is then always frame left of the first. If the camera passes over the axis, it is called crossing the line or jumping the line. weve also used continuity which made the easier for us. We learnt all ofthis and later on put them in the two minute sequence.
