What is the most common religion in France?

What I think the French flag tells us about France

What does the French flag mean?

The three equal amounts on the flag represents unity of all. The white third of the flag represents peace and honesty. The red third represents hardiness, bravery, strength and valour. And the blue third represents vigilance, truth, loyalty, perseverance and justice.

My opinion on what the Since France is a secular French flag says about France country (by law the country is that France can be a very has no official religion) it peaceful country but if doesnt have a major religion needed to it will fight back if but the most common religion its for the good of the is Catholicism. country. It shows that France will never back down and never give up even if times are extremely tough and that it will stand by you no matter what.

Why I Would like to Visit France

I would like to visit France because it would be so cool to go to a country where the main language isnt English so you can go around the city speaking a different language for a change. Another reason is Ive always wanted to go up the Eiffel Tower and look down on Paris. Also to taste the food that is supposed to be very good.

Unique Animals and Plants to France

Animals: There is a bird that is found nowhere else in the world apart from France and its called a Corsican nuthatch and a unique frog is the Corsican painted frog.
Plants: In the plant category there is a Corsican daisy, some mouse eared chickweed and some rock jasmine.

Two interesting things about France are

Their wine because they have so much wine in France like red wine, white wine, bubbly wine and so much more. There is even a special kind of wine called Champagne. But it can only be called Champagne if it is made in the Champagne region of France.
Another interesting thing about France is the people. In places like New Zealand you greet someone with a casual hi but in France you say bon jour and you kiss the other person on the cheek. This is quite unusual for us kiwis but for the French its completely normal.

French Food
One of the things that France is most well known for is its food. France is one of the countries with the most Michelin star chefs in it. Amazing chefs in turn lead to amazing food. One of the dishes France is most well known for is its escargot (snail). France is known for this dish because no one else would have thought about eating snails (apparently its very nice). The French food interests me because they are very original when cooking and dont hold back.

French Sports
France plays a very important part in the sporting community. The sport that France is most well known for is cycling. The reason why its cycling is because they have the most famous cycling race held there, called the Tour de France. This event happens every year and people from all around the world come to race against other determined cyclists or to just watch the action as the cyclists race past them.

Two Major Issues Faced by France

Number 1: In World War Two France was smack bang in the middle of the Germans fighting the Allies. Because they were right in the middle of it all, Germany thought it would be a good idea to take over France and use it as a recon base. The Germans eventually did this and became the rulers of France for some time which made life for the French extremely hard. The Germans would steal from the rich, beat whoever got in their way and execute any possible threats. The Allies eventually took back France and not too long after that the war was won. Number 2: In 1982 France got rid of their death penalty which wasnt too long ago. There is no longer the death penalty but instead a life sentence. There are still some pretty crazy politicians who want the death penalty back but the chances are very low of that ever happening

Ethnic Groups of France
