Sunburst Squares
Each square is made up of 3 colors (C1,C2,C3) and a final round of white. Round 1(C1) Ch4, join with a sl st to form a ring. Ch 3 to count as the first tr, work another 15tr into the ring. Join with a sl st to the top of the ch 3 (16tr). Fasten off. Round 2 (C2) Join the next color with a sl st to any tr, ch 1, puff st in the same st and in each tr as you work your way around. Join with a sl st to the first puff st. (16 puff sts). Fasten off. Round 3 (C3) Attach the next color with a sl st into the ch sp of any puff st, ch 2(cluster st, ch 2) in the same space and then in each ch sp around. Join with a slst to the beginning cluster st. (16cluster sts). Fasten Off.

Round 4 (white) Attach the white with a sl st into any of ch 2 sp, ch 4 to count as the first dtr, 2 dtr in the same ch sp, (*3tr in the next ch 2 sp, 3htr in the next 2 ch sp, 3tr in the next 2 ch sp*, {3dtr, ch 3, 3dtr} all in the next 2 ch sp for the corner). Repeat between the ( ) 2 times then repeat from * to * once, 3 dtr in the space space as the beginning dtr, ch 3. Join with a sl st to top of the beginning of ch 4. Weave in all the loose ends.
Special Stitches
Puff Stitch - to work a puff stitch:( yo, insert the hook and pull up a long loop) 3 times, yo and pull through all 7 loops on the hook, ch 1 to finish. Cluster Stitch - to work a cluster stitch: (yo, insert hook in st and pull up a loop, yo and pull through 2 loops) 4 times, yo and pull through all remaining 5 loops on the hook
Work 81 Sunburst squares. They are then arranged into 9 x 9 to make a large square. Using a dc st first join the squares into rows. Then join the nine rows together in the same way and weave in all the loose ends.

Finally when the blanket is together work one row of dc all the way around the edge.
