Beginning and Concert Band programs

Bands will start the week of September 24th.

LEARN to play a band instrument and to read music. You may select
flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or percussion instruments. You will need to provide your own instrument. Check with your family and friends, contact your local music store, or check with Mr. Rhymes.
is given weekly. Beginning band students will meet on Wednesdays, from 7:15 AM to 7:50 AM at Sacred Heart School in the Science Room with the students from Sacred Heart. The concert band students will meet with the advanced Sacred Heart School students on Fridays from 7:15 to 8:00 AM in the Padre Serra room. All concert band students are also scheduled to meet weekly with the band students from the other participating schools at Sacred Heart School in the school library on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

TUITION The tuition required for participation in the Combined Private Schools Band program is $300.00 per year. Payment arrangements can be made, call Mr. Rhymes. Please make checks payable to Music Room Ensembles

Join St. Augustine Academys High School Debate Club

Through an interactive, relaxed classroom setting, participants will develop the skills to

research efficiently and reason logically analyze information while distinguishing between fact and opinion take notes and organize information communicate with clarity and listen with understanding contemplate all sides of an issue and respond to differing views without attacking individuals mentally focus under pressure while persuading with both intelligence and grace.

As your speaking ability improves through practice and losing self-consciousness, you will learn to become an advocate championing a position. We meet once a week for 1 hrs. Day of the week TBD.
