DR DAVIDSON HEPBURNS BOOK LAUNCH PHOTOS An enthusiastic gathering of family, friends and interested readers came out to support Dr Hepburns first novel launch! The novel is available for sale at the Gallery and another book signing is slated for Saturday November 24, 10am-12noon. Be sure to come and get your copy!

Fash/Art 2012 was once again a smashing success with 2 nights of exciting events this month the Art Show at PTAB on the Friday night and the Runway Show on Saturday at the Sheratonboth events were well attended by enthusiastic crowds. We congratulate all the participants of this years event who put on an amazing display! Kudos to the winner of the Jackson Burnside Emerging Visual Artist Award, Atilla Feszt of Abaco and we look forward to mounting an Exhibition of his work at the Gallery in 2013! It gives is great pleasure to announce the upcoming Launch of YINNA 4, a publication of BACUS in association with Guanima Press, as this issue is a tribute to Jackson Burnside III and is now on sale at the Gallery! Please join us on December 2 when you can get your book signed as well as be treated to an stimulating afternoon of readings, literary discussions and socializing!

The Launch of YINNA 4 is also the impetus for this years JACKSON L. BURNSIDE IIIs CONVERSATIONS ON CULTURE entitled Yinna better see what ya lookin at which will take place on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5 and THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13, 6-9pm at the Gallery!
Close on the heel of the YINNA 4 Book Launch will be the premiere of the new documentary JACKSON BURNSIDE III, NATIVE SON produced by the dynamic veteran filmmaker duo, Karen and Tom Neuwirth and it is the latest in the Bahamian Artists dvd quartet which consists of Artists of the Bahamas, Amos Ferguson and Brent Malonecheck the official website at www.artistsofthebahamas.com The film is a part of this years BIFF lineup (for more BIFF information, log on to www.bintlfilmfest.com or their facebook page, Bahamas International Film Festival) and will be shown at the Galleria Cinema, RND Plaza, John F. Kennedy Drive on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7 at 7.30 pm and on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8 at 4.15 pm Entry fee is $3. See you there!
