The activity of praising, blessing, and lifting of hands takes place in the sanctuary. Lifting up hands is a sign of directing ones prayers and praise toward God, and helps the worshipper focus his thoughts on God.

On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night.
The delight in God is not limited to the sanctuary Where we can find delight in prayer? A. In the memory of Gods presence and promises mediated in public worship.
