The winter months can be hard on the students. Not as much sunlight, snow days, and winter illnesses can start to take its toll. Luckily, we have a whole week off to rejuvenate! During week 26, the students worked on expository text by researching famous astronauts and their training. We wrapped up our unit on physical science by creating PowerPoints over the the last four standards (check them out on their blogs). Because we have finished all the grammar standards, we have started a review, and this week we looked back on verbs while competing on iTooch. To finish the week, we spent extra time reading our novel, Westing Game.
