TITLE : SERIES RESONANCE

OBEJECTIVE: The objective of this is to measure and calculating the impedance value (XC and XL), drawing impedance versus frequency (Z-F) and current versus frequency (C-F) graph. Lastly to calculate RESONANCE FREQUENCY.

EQUIPMENTS: 1. Function Generator 2. Multimeter 3. Resistor-100 4. Inductor-0.013H 5. Capacitor-1uF -1unit -1unit -1unit -1unit -1unit

PROCEDURES: 1. A series circuit is constructed as shown in Figure 4.4 2. The signal generator is set to 20vpp and the frequency is adjusted to 0.2khz 3.The current value is stated. Vs,Vl,Vc is measured, and the value is recorded into table 4.1 4. The input frequency is changed as in the Table 4.1, and the step 2 and 3 is repeated. 5. Z, XL and Xc is calculated.

Conclusion At the end of this practical lab 4, weve been able to construct a series resonance circuit, Measuring and calculate impedance value and draw impedance versus frequency(Z-F) and current versus frequency(C-F) graph and calculate resonance frequency. Based on the graph, there is significant difference with the theory. The curve for Z is quite weird.
